Gerard Sweeney

With over 25 years of experience, Gerard specializes in the technology and operational dimensions of M&A and restructuring. He supports clients across the entire deal life cycle from preparing assets for sale and executing due diligence, to finalizing buy-side mandates in both standalone and integrated scenarios. Gerard has advised a broad range of companies operating in different sectors and has significant experience in navigating regulatory frameworks and government oversight of environment. Before joining Kroll, Gerard spent 17 years with a Big Four firm, advising on large-scale transactions and complex operational transformations.

He works across the full lifecycle of transactions from preparing assets for sale, executing diligence processes and finalising buy-side mandates to either standalone or integrated states. Gerard has clients and accountability in the United States and the UK.

He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Management Science from Trinity College Dublin.
