Eraj Weerasinghe is a managing director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice, based in the San Francisco office. Eraj has a global focus on the oil and gas, infrastructure and mining sectors. He leverages over two decades of experience in valuing businesses and securities across the oil and gas value chain and the infrastructure spectrum, including public-private-partnership structures, regulated utility businesses, contracted assets, throughput infrastructure assets and infrastructure-related businesses.

Prior to joining Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), Eraj was an associate partner at EY in London where he provided valuation and corporate finance advice to major institutional investors in energy infrastructure and oil and gas corporates. Before EY, he was a director and European leader for energy and mining and infrastructure at Kroll. Eraj started his corporate finance career with Arthur Andersen. He has lived and worked in Europe and the Middle East and his client work has spanned all the major continents.

He is a subject matter expert and regular speaker on valuation for oil and gas and energy infrastructure, notably at the Royal Institution, Oxford Said Business School and major infrastructure investment conferences.

Eraj holds a BSc and an MSc in economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. He is a CFA charterholder, an RICS Chartered Surveyor and is accredited by the Institute of Business Appraisers.
