Cathleen Hughes is a Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Kroll, LLC, based in Chicago. She has over 20 years of experience working with middle market companies and their advisors, providing M&A advisory services, capital raising, and valuation services.

Cathleen is primarily responsible for building relationships between Kroll and financial sponsors, privately-owned companies and public companies to generate and execute M&A transactions, including leveraged buyouts, divestitures, recapitalizations and strategic alternatives, transaction advisory services, transaction opinions and valuation services.

Prior to joining Kroll, Cathleen worked at Bank of Montreal, providing debt, capital markets and derivative solutions to privately-owned and sponsor-owned middle market companies.

Cathleen received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from Marquette University. She is a FINRA registered representative and holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses. She is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity, and she serves on the Board of Directors at Fenwick High School.
