Bart is a Director in the Real Estate Advisory Group and is the National Head of Kroll’s Cost Segregation Group, based in Chicago.

He has extensive experience in real estate tax consulting for institutional investors, private equity firms, REITS and owners/operators of real estate. His consulting assignments include commercial property types— industrial, data centers, retail, casino resorts, office, healthcare, hospitality, multi-family properties and power generation facilities. Bart’s team performs cost segregation analysis, look-back studies, repair regulations consulting, fixed asset scrubs, disposition analysis and ITC cost segregation for all client types. Bart has consulted on over $100 billion worth of real estate properties.

Prior to joining Kroll, Bart was a lead mechanical engineer at Primera Engineers in Chicago, specializing in building automation systems in new construction projects.

Bart holds a MBA in real estate and finance from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
